January 2011 - Luxury Room Oceanview Rhode Island
My husband and I never had a Honeymoon and as we have 4 kids, it is not easy to get away or to have a budget to do something like this for us, but as it was our 10 year anniversary we decided to do something special. We booked through this website who had a very helpful person called Nana. She knew the island very well and recommend this resort as a simple luxury stay for a good rate. We fell in love here again as Anguilla is a very romantic island and Frangipani did everything beyond what they needed to do to welcome us here. The room was very basic but comfortable and very clean. Because this resort is so small you are very close to everything from the beach, to the restaurant and your room. I thought it would be a good fit for my elder parents. We enjoyed the free breakfast at Strawhat next door. We were told that the food is superb in Anguilla and Nana was certainly right. ALL our meals were beyond what we expected. We did not had one bad meal our entire stay. We booked the resorts boat to do some waterskiing which again was free! Other than that we spent our time reading on the beachfront and enjoying the quietness surrounding us. We love out children dearly but the sound of silence is priceless. Thank you Nana for organizing such a wonderful getaway and thank you Anguilla for welcoming us to a magical place.
